House of Horrors

When Connor and I went to his follow-up appointment about his hearing, we had to go to a different office than where we went for his initial appointment. When we were taken back to the room, he and I both stopped a little short at the sight of this in the room:


Looks like some sort of mad scientist's torture device in a house of horrors. I kept my opinion to myself so as not to scare Connor, but as quickly as I thought it, he looked right at the nurse and said, "That thing looks creepy; can't we have a different room?!" LOL! He was smiling, so I knew he wasn't actually scared, but I thought it was funny we both thought it looked creepy. ha!
