Surf's Up!

We went to a friend's family's cabin over the holiday weekend, and Emily "tortured" poor Charlie in the water. First, she stuck him into the water far enough (while supporting his weight so he wasn't having to float/swim on his own) that he felt the need to paddle his legs. Then, she'd lift him out of the water enough that he wasn't IN the water, but close enough that he still felt the need to paddle "just in case". Admittedly, it was pretty funny to see him paddling away in mid-air, but I'm sure HE didn't think it was very funny. After a few times, I told Emily Grace to keep Charlie out of the water for awhile (it wasn't a warm day and he's so little, I was partially worried he'd get too cold!). Her solution?:


Charlie may never be the same again! haha!
