After rollerskating, we went to the zoo. Jared has been bugging me to take him to see the polar bears (his favorite animal) for WEEKS, but it just hasn't work out. We made a special trip just for him...and the polar bears were sleeping where you could barely even see them. LOL (which means we'll need to take another trip again soon so he can see his "polies")
We did see a deer wandering around (not within the zoo, but near the parking lot and entrance)
And we got to see the baby tigers (can you see the top of the one's head behind the mom?)
Emily and Connor and I had been at the zoo the week before and the babies and the mom were right up against the glass and the babies were jumping all over the place, but of course, I didn't have my camera last week!
We saw the Clouded Leopards (which are usually snoozing WAY up high in their enclosure, but were actually laying down on the ground this time)
I think the big cats are so pretty!!!
We saw huge fish in the aquarium:
And we saw a cute Gibbon, who I'm convinced was posing for the camera!
And we saw much, much more! The boys had a great time and were EXHAUSTED at the end of the day.

Looks like the zoo is similar all week long. Like the animals are the in same spot! We went on Friday and the animals seemed to be sleeping just as you pictured them Tuesday. LOL
And the same deer were hanging at the entrance, there was about 6 of them. Maybe the zoo pays them to hang out there. ha ha ha
What a busy and fun day! We took Emily to the Zoo Sunday. Drove all the way there at 3pm and it was closed! "Summer" hours they close at 3, but "Winter" hours they close at 4!!! Does this make sense to anyone???
