Men at work

I was at a wedding shower Saturday evening, so Dan was in charge of caring for the kids, which included feeding them dinner. Emily documented Dan hunting around for what to fix:

And apparently when Mommy's not home, Connor's allowed to use the stove:

Let's just say about a thousand "what if's" ran through my head when I came across this picture on Em's camera. The daddy says he was standing right there and that that particular burner wasn't even on yet...

At least Connor will know how to prepare himself a meal by the time he's old enough to actually see what he's fixing...

I know it's frightening to see a baby cooking...but you want to know what's even more frightening??? I bet he cooks better than me.

Em's taking fantastic pictures!! I'm truly impressed! Remember how in my guest blog I complained that you don't often talk about yourself?? Maybe you could get Em to follow you around and document "A day in the life of Mom"? It would be neat to see what she thought was important to document during your day! Keep up the good work, Emily!

That little chubby baby keeps busy!
Emily sure does take good photos.
I like the idea of her documenting your day. Mommy's day through the eyes of her daughter.

That picture of Connor cooking is so cute! Emily did a good job getting that one. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that song playing "Let Them Be Little!"

P.S. Thanks for all your nice comments on my blog.

Don't you love that she is old enough to capture these moments for you?? My husband knows he has to behave when I am gone or my little spies will tell me EVERYTHING. Muwahahahaha!! (that was my evil laugh, just fyi)
