Next time won't you sing with MEEEEEEE?!?!

Jared could speak 3-4 word sentences by 18 months old, and could practically rattle off the Gettysburgh address by the time he was two (I jest, but he truly could speak very very well, and lots of people assumed he was three and just small for his age). People commented ALL THE TIME about the complexity of his sentences and how articulate he was. Even then he was coming up with his goofy things to say (if only this blog were in existance back then!!). He also loved to sing little songs and tell knock knock jokes.

This video was taken when he was 25 months old. He's doing karaoke at our annual summer party at my uncle's house (Don't forget to go down in the sidebar on the right side of the blog screen and pause the playlist!)

And this was taken just a few days later. Can I just add that one of the things I dislike the most in life is little kids' knock knock jokes? They never make sense, kids repeat the same nonsense joke over and over again and you have to continually pretend they are the most hilarious things you've ever heard. It's exhausting I tell you!!!!!!!! (but seriously, how adorable is he in this video?)

more singing. Oh man, how I miss that little toddler voice of his! (and Emily the copycat! LOL!)

Go Jared! He's not only smart, but a brave little booger! Even at 30 I would NOT sing into a microphone, even just at a family gathering! This is for Jared...(I hope it works in writing...)

Kristina: Knock knock.
Jared: Who's there?
Kristina: Interrupting cow.
Jared: Interrup....
Kristina, interrupting Jared: Moo!!

Those are so cute! Obviously, you have 3 totally cute kids who say funny things. Must get it from their Mom! LOL!

Jodi ought to tell you about how Olivia changes the words to songs which makes us laugh all the way down the road.

Yeah, I'm not one for knock knock jokes, either, but who can resist a cute little face like that? Olivia was sitting in my lap while I was reading your blog and she thought the joke was pretty funny. I had to play it four times! What a cute little guy. Thank goodness you took those videos of him so that you can look back at them and see what a cutie he was (and still is, of course). It's too bad they have to grow up, huh?

♥ Oh, I seriously understand. If I'd only taken pictures of ALL of the crap they've done. But that's okay because then maybe I won't remember it ALL and go that much more insane! :)

Wow Adam couldn't even make it past "A" in the alphabet lol! Those are totally adorable. Brooke is into the nonsense knock knock jokes now, they are so not funny!
