I've been tagged!

I've been tagged by Chanin over at Hey! What's with all the pink?"

Here are the rules
1) Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog
2) Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3) Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4) Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

7 things about me:

1) I've lived in the same town my entire life, and currently live 7 minutes from the house I grew up in

2) All of my jobs have involved children (babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, elementary school employee, mom)

3) My dream house has a covered, wrap-around front porch, and lots of details through the exterior design, a landscaped yard, includes a PANTRY in the kitchen, walk-in closets in all the bedrooms, and everything is NEW, and NOTHING NEEDS UPDATING/REPAIRING.

4) I'm determined to get my kids to Disneyland, even if it means I have to leave Mr. Anti-Disneyland Dan at home.

5) I love making cards, knitting, sewing, fiddling with Photoshop Elements, spending time with my children, family, and friends, etc.

6) I always put boxes away in the cupboards the exact same way (so the front of the box is to the right) and it annoys the heck out of me when DAN doesn't. LOL!!

7) I'm a hoarder. There, I admit it. I save almost everything (within reason). You never know when it's gonna come in handy. I have a hard time throwing out perfectly good and potentially useful items. That said, I only "hoard" what can fit in cupboards and closets. I'm not one of those people who has small pathways through their house because of all the crap. It's selective hoarding (crafty items, kid toys, things I think I could sell IF I ever have a garage sale, etc).

I tag Kristina, Betsy, Cattigan, Kaci, Jen, Shan, and Valarie

I've taken the kids to Disneyland twice and both times I needed a vacation from my vacation. I also needed to get a part-time job to pay for my vacation. That mouse must be rolling in the dough!!!!

The kids had fun though!

If Dan really doesn't want to go to Disneyland, you just tell me when, and I'm TOTALLY there!! I think it would be a BLAST! I really want to go back! And I think Disneyland would be even more fun with kids...I'm too "old" for it, but could get away with it with little ones! P.S. I'm planning to do the purse meme and I'll do this one, too, but I'm swamped this week. Next week is Spring Break and I'll have lots of time to get to it then!

I always like this meme - your dream house sounds a lot like mine!

I don't think my kids will ever make it to Disney World and it will be my fault as I am the one that has not desire to ever go there!

Hope you are having a good week - see you soon, Leah - Kellan

Listen to your Auntie.
Don't take anybody to Disneyland
under 12. It makes no sense.
It sounds fun but won't be.
I know stuff. Maybe take EG alone when she is 12, then JD and then CJ. All the strollers parked in Disneyland just annoy the rest of us who don't have one...
And hey, for the cost of the trip the kid better remember it!
I just paid 89.00 through the dental society to get a pass in.

Those wrap around porches are called margarita porches in my house! We are going to have one, also! LOL

My dream house looks the same! Wait.. it's a walk in pantry right?

And I live in the same town I grew up in too. I'll go you one better though, I still live in the house I grew up in. Still sleeping in the same bedroom, which isn't as weird as it sounds. I swear. To keep the theme going, right across the street is the house my fil grew up in and his grandparents (the girls great great grandparents) house is just three houses down from us.

We took our kids to Disneyland a while back and it was wonderful. I'm not such a huge fan myself, but seeing it through the kids eyes was SO MUCH FUN.
