Connor was a character hugging maniac at Disneyland! It was so sweet!
Some of the charcter opportunities were extremely rushed and Connor didn't get a chance to give/get a hug, but we still got some fun pictures!
(I have to add in a little note about the guy who played Peter Pan. I was IMPRESSED with how he played the part! He stood like Peter, leaped around and climbed on and off stuff just like you would expect from Peter... The way he worded his sentences, etc. It was fantastic! And Connor was THRILLED that this character would actually talk to him--he had questions for all the other ones, but they would never answer him. LOL)
Standing in line to see Aviator Goofy, we were told he only had a few more minutes before he would be replaced by Aviator Minnie. We just squeaked out our turn with Goofy, and then while it was a really short line (because I think some people were hearing that Goofy was almost done with his turn, but didn't hear Minnie would be out next, so didn't hang around in line), we got back in it so when Minnie came out, we were right there ready to see her, too! ha!
We had been looking all over for Donald Duck (the boys picked out Donald Duck hats), and we finally came across him our third and final day at the Disney parks. We hurried and got in line, only to be told that he only had about five more minutes before he'd be leaving for a half hour (with no on replacing him, and no set line to try waiting in). The cast member helping out gave the one minute warning when we were still 2-3 families back, so I lined up the kids and had them pose with Donald in the background, figuring it was better than nothing
The lady gave one last warning that Donald would be leaving and was finishing up his final family (which was the family in front of us). I think I shouted out, "PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE!!!" and she made eye contact with me and agreed to let us have our turn as well. HURRAY!
We stumbled upon Jessie and she must have JUST arrived because there were only two other families in line ahead of us!
We'd caught a glimpse of Buzz, but his line was closed before we got to it. Same with Woody's line. We also saw Gepetto and Pinocchio's line, but didn't opt to stand in it (too long and it was our final day and we wanted to get on the RIDES! Though I WOULD have liked a picture of Em with Pinocchio since he's the only character we saw in Disneyworld, besides the princesses, but it wasn't worth the wait!)
At the end of our last night, we caught sight of Mickey, and Connor was wearing his Mickey Mouse shirt and REALLY wanted to show M.Mouse, so we stood in line again (different version of Mickey than the other two times we'd seen him, and the line was pretty short, so I had no problem with it!)
