Brothers and Blankets

I had Connor set up in the chair with his blanket shortly after waking up from his nap because he just wasn't quite ready to run around and play. I went to start a load of laundry and when I came out of the laundryroom, I found Jared and HIS blanket snuggled up with Connor!

When Marlee and were little we called our blankets ginkees.
They were receiving blankets and Mom had a pile in the linen closet. When we got clean sheets on Saturdays we chose a fresh ginkee out of the closet to put over our pillows. Marlee liked the silky ones and I always chose the cotton kind.
