Here's Jared in front of the signs of things to do

Jared and Cooper checking out the pumpkins out front

Loading into the "wagon" to head out to the activities

First activity? Feed the chickens! The chickens knew what was coming and swarmed the fence line!

The kids all got chunks of bread to rip apart and throw to the chickens

Then they got to dig for potatoes (three each!)

Still digging!

"I found a potato for me to have mom!"

Then they got to head to the strawberry fields and hunt out the last red strawberries on the plants

A little sour, Jared?

They also got to pick raspberries and choose pumpkins but Jared wasn't cooperating for pictures so I don't have any of him doing those things.
Here's Connor with a pumpkin (I've got my hand underneath holding the pumpkin because he kept dropping it and I wanted a picture!)

Here's what Connor thought about Daddy picking him up and carrying him (to keep him out of the mud puddles on our way back to the entrance)

At the end, each kid got to take home two apples. Connor ended up with one at some point and I didn't think it would hurt to let him carry it around. I did NOT expect him to actually EAT it!

he really took a bite!

And then he got ahold of ANOTHER apple (sneaky baby) and plopped himself down on the ground and went to town on both of them

We had a really nice time, and the rain held off all morning for us.

awww FUNFUN FUN!!!!!! THey are so cute!
Those ones of Connor remind me of M's first apple. My mom gave it to her after taking a bite (so it would be easier to get started on) and she ate the whole thing includig the core!! It looks like he had fun!
Great pics!!! Can't wait to go soon...El goes tomorrow and I'm scared to death of the rain, etc.!! I know I know!
What an impressive pumpkin patch!
Digging potatoes and all...
I am glad Dan could go and it didn't rain.
