Moving right along

Dan's Aunt Danielle was in town from PA over the holiday weekend, and took the kids to Toys R Us and let them each pick out a new SOMETHING. Emily chose some roller skates. They're really neat as they will adjust in length as her feet grow, but are also really sturdy and solid and comfortable. They have ratchet-style straps so they're very easy to get on and off. Emily is having a BLAST "skating" around in the kitchen holding onto the counters. LOL

How fun!!! I remember the old skating rink, with the shiny wooden floors and oh so cool music. Oh, the memories... lol

She looks like she's ready to go, Mom. So cute!

Madison got some roller skates for her last birthday and had to put them on RIGHT NOW! (So we put them on RIGHT NOW). She did this really funny flailing thing where she kindof looked like a windmill for a minute and then fell flat on her behind (I guess she needs butt pads instead of knee pads). Anyway... whenever she puts her rollerskates on now, she wears her knee pads and crawls around on the floor instead of actually skating. It's so funny!

Hopefully Emily is a little more coordinated than Madison. :)
