Emily got her cheer uniform at her last practice. She's part of the Upward Cheer and Basketball program. It's a program throughout the country, and churches in different areas "adopt" the program and host it for their community. It run for 3 months, with weekly practices and then cheering at the weekly basketball games. For only $75 dollars, she gets the practice time, the cheering time, a uniform, a hair bow, a CD of religious music, a plastic megaphone, pom-pom's (I'll have another post about those later!!), a fridge magnet, and a magnetic picture frame. We tried her uniform on last night when we got home to see how it fits (a little big, btw...) and I couldn't resist taking a picture. Isn't she cute?
